Design of GUI

This is the layout of the home page and it will be our initial layout. There will be a flash or video on the left hand side.  Welcome note and the title of each subtopic which can links to each of our webpage is on the right hand side. We will still have to discuss again and reconsider about the content part to have a better page.

Adobe Photoshop will be used to edit and create the banners and pictures of the website.

Adobe Dreamweaver will be used to create the website. 

Adobe Flash will be used to create the flash of our website.

S.O.S Logo

now we wanna show you,

how to make our S.O.S logo~ 

 the original picture

 1st - Use the "magic wand tools" to select the love shape and then move to the new paper on the other side.

2nd - Use the "Crop Tool" to crop the love out which have been selected . Then, renamed it as cloud1.

3rd- Right click > duplicate layer to copy the same out and renamed it as cloud1-copy.

4th - select cloud1

5th - double click the "cloud1" layer , then select "Drop Shadow"

5th - select "cloud1 copy" layer then change the opacity to "41%" which under the "General Blending"

6th - so, it will become like this.

7th - add "S.O.S" text inside a new layer. Choose "Impact" font and size= 26 .

8th - right click > the duplicate layer on the "S.O.S" text layer and rename as "S.O.S copy " 

9th - double click "S.O.S copy" layer > change the opacity to "19%" 

10th - double click the "S.O.S" text layer > choose "Bevel and Emboss" and "Stroke = change size 1 "

11th - So, it will become like this~

Project manager –  Kong Joan

- Maintain the website and check everything such as webpage, links and flash to make sure that everything is working well and perfectly.

- Make sure every members are doing their job assigned by her.

- Conduct a meeting and distributing tasks to every member

- everything need to get approval from her to confirm it.

Responsible of webpage: responsible on designing and producing " Webmaster " and 
                                             " Home " page

Assistant project manager – Chan Mei Wui

-Replace project manager to go for meeting or conduct the meeting due to sickness or emergency

- help projector manager to remind each of the members to do their job

- carrying out special tasks by project manager such as checking the spelling, grammar and so on.

Director of Web designer- Phoon Yip Lynn

-To set or give a guideline on a design for every webpage for each member so that it is easy for member to create the webpage.

- Check every design of the group members in order to producing a nice looking website

- decorate the whole website  by using adobe dreamweaver

- Every member can consult from her if have anything don’t understand or have no idea about creating the webpage and get approval from project manager or assistant project manager and director of web designer

-to check all the images edited by each member by using adobe photoshop

- he have the power to change and reedit the images if he think the images is not suit or not really satisfy

- can consult him if the members don’t know or don’t have idea to edit the pictures

- the outcome of images from each members have to get approval from he and project manager or assistant project manager

-to check the flash which edited from each of the members by using adobe flash

- all the members can consult him if have any doubt of using adobe flash or don’t have any idea on how to do it.

- he have the power to change and reedit the flash from all the members

Objectives

- to let people know more about Kapas Island
- provide more information for tourist about Kapas Island
- to let everyone know the beauty of Kapas Island
- easy and convenient for the tourist to refer for more information
- provide people more choices for vacation

Brief description and reasons

A website that is all about Kapas Island will be created in order to attract more tourists to Kapas Island and provide them sufficient information. The culture, living styles, the food and the people there will be introduced. And also, the attraction of Kapas Island and the activities will be listed such as snorkelling, swimming, diving, wind surfing, kayaking, scuba diving, boating or just pure relaxation. Furthermore, the website will show a lot of real pictures of Kapas Island like the unspoiled sandy beach and clear blue water

• Tell about what can we do in Pulau Kapas : scuba diving, snorkeling, deep-sea fishing, squid fishing, jungle trekking, windsurfing and sailing
  
• Night life in Kapas Island: prime nightspot of Kapas Island, BBQ area for open-air dining

• Describe about the beach of Kapas island

Reasons: The soft white sand on the island is a great place to relax and the beaches on the island are excellent for vacation. Kapas island is a good place to refuge the busy life in city.

Five Sub-topics

•       Introduction : introduce the history of Kapas Island to the viewer and show them the culture of the people living there and some kinds of businesses in the Island

•    How to go? : show the map and the ways how to getting there and also the fare will be charged

•       Attraction : Attractions and activities on the island will be listed to let viewers know more about the island

•      Accommodation : The details of accommodation on the island will be provided so that the tourist can easily get the contacts and compare the prices or which hotel they prefer. 

•   Webmasters: introduce or write biodata of each of our members who have involved in the website.
